Reflections of a BLD donor:

I gave blood, Christ gave His.

I gave a pint, He gave it all!

D needle was short & sharp;
d nails were huge & dull!

D bed was soft & restful;
d cross was rough & hard!

D nurses were kind & gentle;d soldiers were cruel &barbaric!

D crowd lauded my sacrifice;
His witnesses mocked & derided Him!

Mine was type A positive;
His was positive for all;

Mine, at best, will prolong life for awhile;
His w/o doubt will SAVE all! Good morning.
